Fantastic A Level Results for St Aidan’s and St John Fisher Associated Sixth Form Students
Students in the St Aidan’s and St John Fisher Associated Sixth form are celebrating after receiving the joint sixth form’s best ever A level results.
The grades will see many teenagers heading off to their first-choice universities. More than 62 per cent of grades were B or above, and 12 per cent were A*. Among the top achievers was Francis Goodburn (pictured below left), who achieved six A*s and two As, which included French, Portuguese and music, all of which he taught himself at home, taking two of his exams a year early. Francis will now go on to take an organ scholarship to St John’s, Oxford, reading maths and computer science. With 1 A* and 2As, Ewan Forster (pictured below right) will take up a scholarship for a Batchelor of Arts and Science Degree course awarded by Harvard University in the U.S., turning down places at Oxford and Yale!
Well done everyone – your hard work over the last two years has really paid off!
