Mobile Phone Recycling

As Part of the Year 8 PSHEE course, class 8M are raising awareness about donating old mobile phones which we will pass on to Oxfam for recycling.

Please recycle your old mobile phones by bringing them to reception at St John Fishers

Volleyball Competition Winners

Volleyball Competition Winners – School Game Area Round

St John Fisher entered two teams in the under 15 Boys competition and 1 team in the under 15 Girls competition.

Boys:

Team 1: Matthew Binks, Sam Hughes, George Petts, Josh Petts and Richard Haldane.

Team 2: Elliott Barker, Kyle Fox, Finn Hassall and Edward Hayhurst.

Team 1 finished runners up in their group losing just one game. Team 2 finished top of their group winning all their games and therefore went through to the final where they defeated Rossett in a very tight encounter scoring 9 – 8 to win the competition and now go through to represent the area in the Regional Finals.

Girls:

Team: Maeve Staunton-Sykes, Ellie Churchill, Rebecca Stockman and Lauryn Coleman

The girls beat all the other area teams, Rossett, St Aidans and Harrogate Grammar and go through to represent the area in the regional finals.

Senior Music Concert 12th May

Following last year’s successful senior music concert at the Majestic Hotel we are delighted to invite you to this year’s Senior Music Concert on Friday 11^th May, this time we will be performing at The Cedar Court Hotel, Harrogate.

The concert will feature performances by all our senior ensembles as well as solo and group items by our departing year 13 students. It promises to be a fantastic night and it would be great to see a full audience supporting our students.

The concert will commence at 7pm and I urge you to buy your tickets in advance. Following last year’s sell out audience we can’t promise that any tickets will be available on the door on the night.
