“SJF Summer Showcase to send Iris to NYT”
SJF are delighted to host a summer showcase evening on Monday 1st July at 6.30pm in G18, to raise money to help send Year 9 student Iris Wall to the National Youth Theatre this summer.
Iris won a place on NYT and needs to raise £1500 to do the summer course. Iris and her family, along with SJF, have organised a talent-filled summer showcase, to help raise funds. Tickets £5 to be bought on Parent Pay, raffle and refreshments also available. Please come and join us!
U14 Girls’ Football Team Cup Success
Congratulations to the team who were crowned North Yorkshire Champions after a thrilling final contest against Archbishop Holgate.
Swimming Success
Congratulations to Year 10 student, Thomas Plant who has qualified for 6 events at the Swim Wales Summer Nationals and will be competing during the summer holidays in Swansea.
Sports Update
Athletics Practice – Thursday after school. Please note that their will be no more athletics practices on Thursday after school for the rest of this academic year. All the competitions have now been concluded.
Year 10 Cricket – Thursday 27th June v Rossett The Year 10 cricket game vs Rossett has been cancelled.

Year 8’s Harry Crichton selected to represent the North East of England in the UK Hockey Championships this weekend.
