U14 Girls’ Netball Latest Result
Well done to the Under 14 girls’ netball team who devastatingly missed out on the finals of the area tournament on goal difference! Great results in the group stages though and a brilliant team effort. You should be proud! SJF 8 V 6 St Aidan’s, SJF 9 V 6 HLC, SJF 6 V 16 HGS.
National Cup Victory
Congratulations to the Year 9 Boys’ Football team who are through to the next round of the National Cup after a thrilling 3-2 win v Rossett.
The boys played some fantastic football, dominating for most of the game and thoroughly deserved the win. Proud of you lads! Well Done.

World Mental Health Day 2019

Soup Kitchen – St Pio’s Friary, Bradford
It’s that time of year again!! The soup kitchen is run by an amazing group of Franciscan Friars supported entirely by donations. We are again enlisting your help this year. Soup, Beans, tomatoes – any tin that can be stored will be put to good use. Closing date 24 October – let’s see if we can beat last year’s donation of 2,000 tins!

Student Wellbeing – Yoga Try Out Session on 10 Oct
Next Thursday, is World Mental Health Day and to promote positive mental health, raise awareness and provide coping strategies, Amy Meehan our Yoga teacher is coming in to school to deliver sessions all afternoon to our young people and staff!
