Back to It!
The Performing Arts Department is delighted to announce that they will be hosting a ‘Summer Celebration’ featuring students from across the school on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th July. In light of not having a show this year, the celebration concert will feature music, dance, drama and soloists in a two night spectacular. More details to follow and tickets on sale after half term.
Music
The music department will be hosting an ABRSM centre visit on Saturday 25th June. Any pupils who are looking to take an exam and have not been entered by their teacher are more than welcome to apply. Please ask Mr Ratcliffe if you would like to be entered before half term.
Congratulations go to Hugo Hatcher on passing his grade 3 Rock School drum exam with distinction, and to Mya Shields for passing her Grade 4 ABRSM violin exam.
Dance
The Dance and Drama Departments are delighted to be running their annual trip to London again for Year 8 and 9 students where we will be watching West End shows, having a tour of the National Theatre, a professional workshop and many other exciting opportunities.
Drama
Congratulations to our Y13 BTEC Performing Arts students who have completed their course this week following their final devised exam – a creative and original piece based on the theme of loneliness post Covid-19.
