Calling all Year 11 Performers!

Carols by Candlelight Service – Wednesday 18 December
The Carols by Candlelight service at St. John Fisher is one of the school highlights of the year. In preparing to celebrate the coming of the Saviour, we hold a traditional nine lessons and carols service in our beautiful chapel. This year, the school Junior, Senior and Staff choir came together to lead our worship in a massed choir of over 80 singers. Click on the header for full details.
Year 7 and 8 Wizard of Oz Theatre trip – 10th December
Places that have now been paid for are confirmed for this trip. Students can wear their own clothes & need to meet at the front of school at 5.30pm to get on the coach which will depart at 5.45pm, and will return to school at 10.30pm. There is an interval and students may wish to bring snacks/money for refreshments or a programme. If you have any questions about the trip please contact Miss Booth, Head of Drama.
Magic of the Musicals Rehearsal Tomorrow – 10am-5pm
This rehearsal has been planned since September and we are really grateful to all students for giving up their time to finalise work on what will be an amazing show! We aim to finish the blocking, do costume fittings and take production photographs, so all cast should bring costume items, dance shoes, and may want to consider hair and make up for their headshots. Students should also remember to dress warmly and bring lunch and snacks.

“SJF Summer Showcase to send Iris to NYT”
SJF are delighted to host a summer showcase evening on Monday 1st July at 6.30pm in G18, to raise money to help send Year 9 student Iris Wall to the National Youth Theatre this summer.
Iris won a place on NYT and needs to raise £1500 to do the summer course. Iris and her family, along with SJF, have organised a talent-filled summer showcase, to help raise funds. Tickets £5 to be bought on Parent Pay, raffle and refreshments also available. Please come and join us!
