Fishers Aiming for Top 10 in the Languages World!
The Languages dept. is delighted with the way that students have made use of the software recently purchased with the support of the PTA. Intended for use by all students it is especially useful for Y11 revision. The software has a system of world ranking with schools being awarded points based on student performance. SJF has risen to 182 out of 4000 in the world already. Head of Languages, Mr Pearce says “we are aiming to get Fishers in the top 10, but all students will need to get involved as we can move up or down depending on what other schools do, so far though the performance of our students has been fantastic – and this can only be good for their exam performance in future”
