Y9/Y10 and Y11 Reports
Y11 reports were issued to students yesterday, Tuesday 9 April. Y9 and Y10 reports will be issued to students on Thursday 11 April.
Parents’ Information Evening – Wednesday 1 May
The next session is on stress, anxiety and sleep and will be delivered by two Sleep Scotland trained practitioners in the Main Hall from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. All are welcome and the event is free of charge. If you would like to attend this evening, please email email@example.com
New interactive Language Resource

Y11 School Photograph – Date Change
There is an change to the date that the whole year group photograph is being taken – this is now scheduled for Monday 1 April during registration. All students must be in full uniform.
Y8 Options Information Evening – Wednesday 13 March
This is a 6.00pm start in the Main Hall. Letters are being emailed to parents/carers today, Wednesday 6 March.

Design Technology Competition at St Aidan’s for KS3,KS4 & KS5
Students had to complete a design folder and produce a prototype solution to time a flashing beacon this year. The task was modified with a greater degree of difficulty for older students. Each group represented the school admirably, with excellent behaviour, a mature and responsible approach to activities and super collaborative learning with other schools. An outstanding level of achievement in the KS5 category was rewarded with a 3rd place finish in all set tasks against many other local schools.
St Aidan’s & SJF Associated Sixth Form Information Evening – Thursday 21 February
Prospective Y12 students and parents are invited to attend this evening. For newcomers to SJF, there will be a presentation at 17:30 in the Main Hall at SJF followed by a short walk to Constance Green Hall at St Aidan’s where there will be a chance to talk more about your options with subject heads. There will then be a presentation at 19:30.
