Y10 Wellbeing Champions Training – Tuesday 10 December
The students took part in a 2 hour education session on mental health and wellbeing, delivered by a Mental Health First Aid Trainer. Students were really engaged in the session and produced posters on strategies and tips for wellbeing.
Presentation Evening 2019

Disruption of School Due to the Tour de Yorkshire – UPDATE
The disruption will be more significant than first thought and as a result, we have made the decision to close the school at 2.35pm for ALL students on Friday.

SJF Teacher Training Day

Years 7 to 11 finish school tomorrow, Friday 21 December at 2.30pm. Sixth Form finish at 12.30pm. School restarts on Tuesday 8 January 2019 at 8.50am
Y7 Pantomime Trip
Y7 enjoyed their annual trip to see Jack and the Beanstalk at Harrogate Theatre and Mr Gibson did a fabulous job of conducting the audience through the sing-a-long.
Harrogate Christmas Lights Switch On
Y10 student, Albert Stott will be singing two slots of 15 minutes at the Harrogate Christmas Lights switch on this Thursday 15th November. Come and support him at The Piazza, Victoria Shopping Centre 4pm until 6pm.
Master of Arts Graduations
Warm congratulations to Miss Waring and Miss Booth who graduated today, Wednesday 18 July, with a Master of Arts Degree in Education from Leeds Trinity University. Miss Waring and Miss Booth are the first cohort to complete their Masters in the joint CPD scheme between the Yorkshire Teaching School Alliance and Leeds Trinity.
