Denim for Dementia Non-Uniform Day
A warm thank you to the whole SJF community for the generous-hearted response to the appeal. The Headteacher will be presenting a magnificent £1, 650 to the Alzheimer’s Society shortly. Special assemblies and form period presentations ensured our students now fully understand the significance of the scourge of dementia and the urgent need for further research.
Congratulations to Year 10 Drama Student Alfie Davies:
Alfie entered the Wharfedale festival back in May and after winning three categories they nominated him to represent them in the British and International Federation of Festivals Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire Regional Championships which was held at the Leeds College of Music. Alfie won and was awarded the winners trophy for Speech & Drama with a certificate & a cheque for £100 ! Well done Alfie – a star in the making!
