Our Chapel
At the heart of St. John Fisher School is our beautiful Chapel. We are fortunate that as a school, we have a consecrated building that is full of history and forms an important part of our spiritual life and community.
The Chapel was built as part of the original convent and is nearly 120 years old. All of the original features remain and make it a truly special place for our students. As part of our daily worship, students will have an act of worship once a week in the chapel and are able to attend mass on a lunchtime if they so wish.
We have a 1st World War memorial to four men who were the brothers of some of our serving sisters at that time in the convent. The beautiful stained glass windows behind the altar are dedicated in their memory.
