In line with current guidance due to the Covid pandemic, our last validated set of performance measures are from 2018-2019.  We are of course extremely proud of the results that were achieved through the TAG process in 2020 and 2021. Our most recent, unvalidated results are also shown below.

From a total of 447 students:

  • 317 students (70%) secured a place at university. Of these:
  • 260 (83%) obtained their first-choice course at their first-choice university
  • 39 (12%) obtained their first-choice course at their second-choice university
  • 18 (5%) students are currently in Clearing
  • 132 (41%) students obtained a place at a Russell Group university
  • 9 (2%) accepted Oxbridge places
  • 9 (2%) secured places to study Medicine (8) and Dentistry (1)
  • 11 (3%) students secured allied health care places, e.g., Physiotherapy
  • 34 (10%) students have accepted courses with a Foundation Year, of these 15 are at Northumbria.

 

  • 75 students (16%) are taking a Gap Year. 15 of these students are holding deferred entry to university
  • 43 students (9%) have secured/are seeking Employment
  • 11 students (3%) have secured a place at College to study the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design
