Music Instrument Demo

On Tuesday morning, Year 7 were treated to fantastic instrumental demo from the music department and the peripatetic team. They were also joined in a specially assembled concert band by teachers from school (Mr Walker on sax and Dr Grooby on french horn) and year 13 students who lended a hand.

Music is an integral part of school life here at St. John Fisher and ensembles support all of our major events, whilst performing out in the community and supporting charities across Harrogate and North Yorkshire. We are always looking for new instrumentalists and the demo explained about the benefits of learning an instrument.
